I am intrigued.  That small square bumper sticker is a QR code.  The camera on my phone isn’t powerful enough to read it (nor are most people’s, I suspect) and one can’t casually read it in traffic, so what could it usefully say?

“I brake for QR codes!”

“I’m in the grocery store; text me if I’ve left my lights on.”

“Only close neighbors and persistent stalkers need visit my website.”

At least I wasn’t driving home behind the salt truck again.

The dangers of cataloging research!  While looking up the publisher of a DVD-R video, I picked up a virus which took my work PC out for much of the day.  It even looks pretty sad about the whole thing.

It’s nice to have a day off of the computer sometimes though.  When else would I get around to cleaning off my desk, or sorting out that gift microfilm?

Still getting moved in.  We haven’t built the next incarnation of the giant guinea pig cage yet, but for now they seem to enjoy their view out the window from their travel cage.  They don’t often get to see snow!

We took a drop-in class at Wild Thyme Cooking School, where we made a fancy dinner including strawberry crisp for dessert.  I even got to demo the efficient onion chopping technique I learned at our last class and have been practicing ever since.  Thanks for the lessons, Allison and Ida!  (and for the company, Julene and Tim!)

Happy New Year!

We rang in the new year playing games with friends at our new house.  Along with Power Grid (pictured), we played Dance Central, Dominion, Katamari Forever, and Rat-a-Tat Cat.  Good times!
